Swivel Seats

Swivel seats can help with getting in and out of a vehicle. Some options come right out of the car and lift or lower to help the customer to their feet or into a wheelchair.

We have a range of manual and electric seats in our Demo Vehicle, so book an appointment today.

6 Way Base

This swivel seat makes it easy to transfer from a wheelchair to a car seat. With easy to operate buttons, the car seat can reverse, rotate and adjust its height to transfer to a wheelchair.

Carony Classic

The manual wheelchair that turns into a car seat.  The chassis easily slides off the frame of the wheelchair onto the car seat dock and a carer can then assist the driver in swivelling the car seat to face forwards. The car seat chassis works in reverse to turn into a wheelchair.

Carony Go

The Carony Go operates the same way as the Carony Classic, but it turns a powered wheelchair into a car seat, and vice versa. The user remains comfortably seated while transferring from the Carony Go wheelchair into the car. It has been one of Autoadapt’s flagship products for nearly 30 years.

Turnin

A hand-held control operates the Turnin seat. It makes transferring between a wheelchair and a car seat possible. This can be used as an alternative to the 6 Way Base, when length, height and full swivel adjustment isn’t needed.

Turnout

The Turnout operates the same way as the Turnin, except the seat swivels out of the car to make transferring to a wheelchair easier. Manual and electrical versions are available and it’s suitable for left and right hand installation.

Turny Evo

The Turny Evo fits into even more car models than its previous version. The movement path of the seat can be customised to ensure optimised leg room for the user.

Turny Low Vehicle

Allows transfers on a wider range of vehicles. Offers increased leg and head space as well as maximum comfort.
